Beach

Pello’s official beach for swimming is located in Ritavalkea. The water in the lake is clear and originates from a spring at the bottom of the lake. Ritavalkea’s beach is well suited for families and people learning to swim as the water is shallow. The Valkea lake’s beach is located 9 km from Pello centre going east towards Rovaniemi. There is space for car parking in front of the beach.
